 Worship is our duty and delight. We love the Lord and we grow as we celebrate all that God has done for us. Our Lutheran heritage lifts up the Word and sacrament when we worship. Our worship life is centered in the Word of God as it is read, preached and set to music. Our worship life is focused on God’s visible signs in baptism and Holy Communion.
A varied worship schedule offers our members the chance to be spiritually nourished by several types of worship. At Grace we have a great blessing in the beauty of our sanctuary. Conceived by beautiful, creative minds and executed by skilled craftsmen, this inspiring sanctuary calls us to worship the God in whom we live and move and have our being. The stained glass windows tell the story of God, from the creation to the fulfillment of the Kingdom of God. Even the tiles on the floor and the carving in the woodwork announce God’s reign of love and mercy. Since the construction of our church, many changes in the service have kept worship lively and relevant. We have had a wonderful variety of lay ministries of worship, from altar guild to lay readers, to communion assistants. We have had many styles of music from contemporary hymns to classical organ recitals. Grace is known for our music ministry, with a long history of choirs, hand bell choirs and instrumental offerings. Our members have contributed their artistic talents to the construction of banners, the decorations at Christmas, and the maintenance of a truly unique worship space.
